International Affairs Graduate School Admission Results

No financial aid, but very happy!

Did not take the GRE. 3+ years of full time work experience in government affairs; 2 internships in state government. Awarded $25k yearly scholarship

Received 11,000 a semester for funding amounting to 44,000 Status: DACA

Accepted with 12.5k of funding. 85 average in 4th year and both economics courses completed. Management experience outside of the field part time.

Application is test-blind and does not accept GRE scores. Undergrad degree from a public university in a flyover state. Five years of work experience, including Fulbright grantee and two years at a DC-based human rights organization working on Latin America policy. Recommenders were a supervisor at my current job and the ambassador in residence from my undergrad institution who last saw me in person five years ago, but who wrote a couple other letters for me since undergrad. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and advanced proficiency in a fourth language.
