Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

Emailed that I was rejected. Then checked their online application and saw it had the same message as well.

To the poster below, I am a BC undergrad student and the professors are hit or miss. Some are really caring and helpful, while it feels like others make it their mission to make life more difficult. Overall the BC clinic is organized and the grad students I've spoken to feel like it is a hard but good program that leaves you prepared. Any wisdom about Queens?

To poster below - I am also trying to choose between Queens College and Brooklyn College. I am a Queens undergrad now, so I know the professors are good. Are you also a QC undergrad? I am looking for information about the Brooklyn program as well.

It seems like San Jose has accepted and waitlisted CA residents, but out of state people have had yet to hear from them. Is this true? My status says referred to grad dept as well.

Thanks for posting about San Jose. That is crazy! I received an email saying that they have my application, so I'm assuming it is OK. It appears that a lot of the CSU's are responding even later this year than normal (which was still late). Sigh.

I will be turning down my acceptance because I already put my deposit down for La Salle University. Good luck!

To the poster below: I was considering it, when I found out over UCF would be informing applicants two weeks after the national deadline. I tried to contact the department, but I got no answer, just rude receptionists. The dept does not care for potential grads. Lost respect in the program due to disorganization

I had an interview at the end of March. Got accepted a week later. Sent my deposit last week. Anyone else attending?

I am just responding to the person who said they were forced to accept another school even though this is their top choice: you can still go here! Even if you accepted elsewhere. You just lose your deposit at the other school. People do it all the time.

Top choice school but will be declining. Unfortunately, they informed first round applicants 2 weeks after the national deadline of April 15th, so I was forced to accept another school.

To the previous poster, I will be declining my offer this afternoon as I just received an offer from my top choice. I hope this helps you out! :)
