IS any one waiting for their result? Were any results decalred today??

To all the stressed out people freaking out about not hearing back from Columbia and trying to game out what this means: I emailed them and was informed that I'm on their wait list, but did not get any official form email or have my status updated on the application website. That is what I know for sure. My GUESS is that anybody else who has not been accepted or rejected is also on the wait list, and I suspect that we may not hear anything until after April 15, by which time the most recent batch of admits is supposed to give Columbia their answers (according to someone who posted on this site).

Is there anyone waiting for the decision? Any information on expected date?

I am from a non-core background

Email to check status and they said my application was still under review. So it seems like they have made decisions on some and haven't touched others at all. Stay strong to those who are waiting, congratulation to those who got accepts and to those who didn't, you are going to do great things in your own path and in your own time!

To the posters below : After how long did they reply to your email ? When did you apply to the Data Science program ? I applied on 14th Feb wondering if they are going through the applications chronologically ?

Definitely not chronologically, I submitted my Application in October and all my LORs were in by early December. Not alphabetically either, my last name starts with a C. And it took them like 10 days to respond to my e-mail about my status

Thanks to all the posters so far for all the information... I am on the same boat and haven't heard a word from Columbia yet. Just gave in and sent an e-mail as well. My last name is late in the alphabet, but I submitted my application back in Nov 15. So it's definitely not chronological.

No results given out till now. Probably 1st week May.

This would mean they are still reviewing applications. Any idea what is this year's class intake ? It was around 80 I think last year. I assume 30-40 seats are already given. Their voicemail says early April that could mean next week or even after April 15th ! They said they had 1000 applications to review this year. Tuesday is the Data Science Townhall meet so no results on tuesday :(

Received email to check the portal. Accepted to CMU(MISM) and waitlisted to Northwestern(MSiA).

At the open house, they mentioned that due to the high number of applicants they are looking to increase the class size to about 100. Not sure how many acceptances have been given out, but not that many showed up at the open house (~20).
