Ignore status — has anyone heard from GWU after interviews?

Canadian applicant. Was told by the graduate program administrator that all interested applicants have been contacted for an interview.

no email, two interview dates administered and no email to receive notice of rejection

Graduate Academic Degree Program Coordinator: "All applications have been reviewed and invitations to interview are complete at this time. Deny letters will be sent out later this month."

Got a rejection notice in the portal and then a follow up email. Did not receive an interview so I already knew. I do want to commend them because although I believe the email letter went to everyone, it was thoughtful and I really did appreciate what they had to say. Its crazy to me that so many programs don't send official rejections at all. So although its not what I hoped in December, I did really appreciate it as a really kind email.

Received an email about an update on the portal. Rejection letter was there.
