To the person asking about UNCG. I’m doing my undergrad here. From what I’ve heard from my classmates is that if you got accepted you were contacted yesterday (March 2nd). It seems that if you haven’t heard by now that you see either waitlisted or rejected. I haven’t heard from them yet either but hopefully we find out starting Monday about the waitlist/rejection.

To those of you applying to Appalachian state: I know they’re on spring break this week but does anyone else’s application still only say submitted?

To their recent poster about ETSU: I also haven’t heard back. I’ve noticed most schools go in order of accepted, waitlisted and then denied. Maybe they’re doing the same. They’re also on spring break right now so the process might be delayed. Hopefully our portals update soon. Mine still just says that my application has been sent to the department.

My goldlink account isn't showing my application either. It told me to clear my cache or whatever so I did and I still can't see anything about my application.

So excited! After two rejections and being waitlisted I couldn't be happier!

I emailed the program director asking how I can improve my application and she gave very thoughtful feedback. If you were rejected from a school you thought you really had a chance at, or even if it was a reach program, email and ask. Having their honest answer is better than wondering why you weren’t selected.

Not surprised, this school really only looks at GRE and GPA. If your combined is under 300 you automatically get rejected. Quant was less than 150, so I’m out! I’m fortunate that 3 other schools felt like I’m a qualified applicant. No heart break here.

Out of state and out of New England applicant. A little surprised, but totally okay with it, because I was accepted into my top choice that isn't 12 hours away from home and won't cost me almost 100k in tuition alone. Good luck to everyone!
