Graduate School Admission Results

I emailed someone in the department to find out if I was rejected or waiting for an interview. He said that my application is still under review and that they will continue to send out interviews February and March.

Well... I got what I asked for, I guess. "Unfortunately, it is likely that I will not know whether the department can offer you admittance until mid-April but I will keep you updated when possible. At this time, we cannot provide funding to cover tuition and living expenses. We are working to try and secure funding for you. It usually takes a month or so before we will know whether we can offer funding to you."

Expected. Did interviews and found out POIs are not a good match, so I won't come anyway. Best of luck to everyone who are still waiting for other offers

Had 3 great interviews. 3 great LoRs, 2 different research, no publications. Excellent academic record from not so known university. I guess publications and/or having done research at least one summer with a well-known professor from a well-known university are crucial part of this period. Good luck to all admitteds! Really upset for not being one of them :(

Standard rejection email. Did my BA at McGill and thought I had a decent chance. Oh well.

received an email from Siraj Ahmed stating I was waitlisted. If you are not going, please, please, please let them know. I'd kill to be there :)

To the posters who received rejection notices- did you apply to the cultural track?

Got waitlisted after interview. One of my top choices hopefully we get to hear good news soon
