Emailed PI to inquire about my status and was told she would not be making me an offer. Congrats to the accepted student!

Undergrad in mechanical engineering, wrote motivation letter on additive manufacturing. 3.5 GPA and 2.5 years of additive manufacturing research

Interviewed with program director - went really well and was very casual. Dept is still determining their funding budget. Looking forward to hearing more in the coming weeks.

I had been rejected from the PhD program, and was asked whether I wanted to be considered for MA admission. Happy to have an offer, but not sure whether it will be financially feasible.
