Interviewed early February, and but heard absolutely zero/nothing from them until today, 90+ days later. I already accepted an offer from my top choice 2 months ago, so I'm not disappointed (and even if I had received an offer from MSU, I likely wouldve declined, given they're not APA accredited). However, the long delay in response and complete radio silence is unprofessional and inconsiderate to applicants. I spent my time and money to attend this interview, and they couldn't even be bothered to send a quick "we are reviewing your app and hope to get back to you soon" or any sort of acknowledgement/reply? |

Interviewed mid-January, where they told applicants they would know where they stand within ~ 2 weeks (initial offer, high alternate, low alternate). Radio silent, and after a month had to contact 2 different people from the department to know my status and it took them 2 weeks to get back to me. Then they sent a rejection letter by USPS way after the acceptance deadline. I ended up accepting an offer at my top choice program, but this program's lack of correspondence after the interview was a turn-off. |
