Communication Studies Graduate School Admission Results

Emailed to check portal at 1 AM PST. Expected since they have extended offers some time ago. Also noticed earlier that most of their enrolled students somehow have "standardized" profiles, mostly with an MA, so I can see my inadequacy. My top program, but not regretful.

My top choice, 2nd year rejected but this year I have an acceptance elsewhere . I checked the portal on my own and saw the letter posted and dated 02/25 but email to check the portal came in at almost 1am PT.

Ignore status! Has anyone received any updates after the interview?

The email sent by the Graduate Coordinator nicely explained their process. Not surprised but pretty hurtful. Email about status update was sent later

Submitted an application on February 4 and received an email that I was recommended for admission and to wait for the official acceptance and I received the official acceptance the day after. This was such a quick process and I'm still shocked how fast I got accepted to the program but nevertheless extremely excited!

Hey question for those accepted into the rhetoric division of the PhD. Has anyone heard anything regarding funding yet?

GPA is MA. Generic rejection letter which specifically states that they won't give any specific information to applicants, sent via email. Should note that I didn't graduate from NYU, and they're notorious for only accepting their own. Money wasted, once again.
