I posted the wait list here the other day, but I was actually mistaken (I'm really sorry for confusing people) and I would like to delete that post.

They took way too long to send out rejections, which I think is extremely unfair for students who have already received offers. I really wanted to go here but ended up accepting another offer several weeks ago before even hearing from them. Overall I'm happy with my choice and wish all of the NYU admits the best of luck, but I don't understand why they don't make all of their decisions at once. Isn't that the point of the wait list?

An international student from NYU. Before this rejection, I have got PhD offers from two British universities. Now I am waiting for the result of funding applications from these two schools. Just come to say goodbye to North America.

I got their phone call saying that I had been shortlisted for admission. I asked them to withdraw my application, as I have been accepted into programs that I'm more likely to go. Good luck to all!
