Physics Graduate School Admission Results

Experimental Condensed Matter. This was my safe school and was unexpected. I have a better offer though.

DENIED

Anyone heard (Acceptance/ Rejection) from them after April 15th ? I sent email to them inquiring about the status of my application and they responded that the decision will be made after April 15th but I still waiting to hear from them. Anyone else in the same boat? Please reply

Heads up for anyone needing transcripts evaluated, Educational Perspectives is an incompetent company, issued my GPA to schools a full GP lower then what it is, from English Canadian Univ., cost me admission and TA to 2 schools, won't return my e-mails, took 5 weeks to do not the 1 week promised. Totally screwed me.

To the person who's asking for Northern Illinois University, I am having the same situation. I've been awaiting the decision from NSMU since they said I am on their waiting list. I asked them on April 14 and was told to wait as April 15 was yet to come and some people would reject the offer. I have been waiting since then but haven't heard anything from them yet. I have no idea what's going on. I am hoping it's going to be a rejection though. Good luck for those who're still awaiting a positive a response

Two Masters degree. One from my country, and one from the US (GPA:3.5). They were asking my new GRE scores but I did not send them. I guess GRE scores are more important than other things like research and Physics GRE. I have four years research experience. Already got better offer. Don't Care!

Is Waterloo done with the admits of the Physics PhD applicants ?

I see only 3 posts for this Uni. for all of 2017. Anyone out there hear from them lately, any field?

To the poster who posted his comment on 4th April. Did you call them and what is your present status of your application? I am still waiting to hear from them even after sending them few emails, I think I should consider it as a soundless rejection :(.

UMass guy, I applied Dec./2016. E-mailed and called Phys grad director, no response. Saw 1 acceptance to Phd Phys. in Feb., nothing else. Have to contact them again. Post if you learn anything.

DENIED. Phone call and 2 e-mails to grad director, must have made him mad, checked status hour later and bam. Zero support for masters students anyway, way to expensive.

To admitted students, Did you receive your UWaterloo offer ? and how much time you had to wait after accepting the PSI offer before receiving UWaterloo offer ?

contacted with a potential supervisor. I am very shocked for the result. I already declined other offers because I had confidence that I can get admission from this university.
