"At this time we have received all the acceptances we can accommodate so we will not be making any offers to waitlisted applicants." 7/8 rejections, 1 withdrew application. Fingers crossed for next year.

CMT. IIT, all rejected. This is sad. I considered these three in my reach, which was a bad assumption. Congrats to all those who got admits. For the time, maybe I am better as a Citi bank employee.

MS from US. A Prof. might have recommended me in some form or other. Still did not make the final cut. Got other admits, but this one hurts.

I finally got accepted off the top of their waitlist with full funding! I am super-excited! I will be attending to NYU! (HEP-th)

I was accepted off the waitlist. I was wait listed on 8th February, 2017. I got an email from the chair, graduate admissions committee that I have been recommended for admission with full tuition scholarship, assistantship worths $19602 for nine months and a little over $4000 summer.......I am thrilled. I really thank God for the offer.

Anyone hear anything from Brandeis?

I'm still waiting to hear as well. I've heard back from everywhere else.

I almost forget that I applied to RPI. Never heard from their admission committee, which probably doesn't exist at all. To future applicants: learn from my mistake and save your money.

I don't understand what's wrong with these schools. Not even a word till now. They don't even reply emails. Hep-th/gravitation (at lsu)
