Did anyone receive an email from department today and it mentioned that your application is still under consideration?

Got an email from Kay Burns this afternoon.

I'm on waitlist too....Hope that all of us are not on waitlist :) Good luck for everyone!

2 research projects, 1 is relevant, the other is not. Contacted a professor but never got reply. With a masters degree.

I was put on the top tier waitlist! Happy it's not a denial.

TTPB: For those who are still waiting for McGill, I emailed the graduate program coordinator and she said she has no idea and did not take part in the admission process, she also said any rejections will not be sent out until spring. She asked me to email my potential PI directly. So I emailed my PI and she said her group has reached max capacity (= rejection). Apparently admission is done within a research group instead of the department, so if you still haven't heard from them yet, you should probably just send your PI an email and ask.

[NOT WL] Same as TPB, the portal says decision released, but nothing found. In your case did you get accepted/rejected? Anxious, because this is my only school left.

Any news on the program? We should find out this week, right? It's been 8 weeks!

accepted without any fellowship. /also a QUICK Q for anyone who received TC master's fellowship; Did the program informed your fellowship on admission portal? or you got another email?

Don't know about ranking, how many ppl are waitlisted (told not to ask at this stage). Let's see what happens in 2~3 weeks

Congrats to the offer holders! I'm sure that we all had tough interview last week. If you have better options, please let TAMU know and save waitlisted students. TAMU is my only hope! Thanks.

I sent an email to Prof. Lee last week and asked about my status. He replied to me they had sent out first-round offers and I am currently on the waitlist.

Decision letter attached to email as pdf though I got a different email from application portal to take the next step in my application (turned out this was for $500 deposit.) Received at 5:25 PM EST.

Email to inform that I am "near the top" of the waitlist. Said they've made only a few offers.
