The faculty in the Creative Writing MFA program, have completed a review of your application for admission to graduate study at the University of Minnesota. There were a great many excellent applications, and therefore the final decision was very difficult. I sincerely regret that we are unable to approve your admission, and hope that our decision will not discourage you from pursuing further academic education or professional development. Email from program, portal not yet updated. $20k total funding, so likely have to decline for financial reasons. Older (40), science degrees, several notable publications, and some top workshops under my belt. 2a/0w/2r to end this application cycle.
