MPH Program. Submitted application on SOPHAS 12/28/2020. Received admissions to the program on 01/28/21. The program does not require students to have public health experience, however, I was able to highlight how I became involved in public health and spoke about what I did in my student organizations that related to global disease.

MSPH Program Johns Hopkins verified my application 1/4/21. Letter of acceptance was updated into the portal on 1/29/21. Awarded MTS scholarship 3 Letters of Recommendation Lots of volunteering and work with on-campus student organizations Emphasis on global work done to help different communities, as well as a personal connection to global health in my personal statement

19k 9-month stipend for duration of MA. Haven't decided if I'm going yet. But it's the first school I heard back from... Yay!

TTPB -- i was the one who asked the question about why acceptances elsewhere would be a determining factor. That was not meant to question you at all!! I was just concerned with the fact that they were asking you to let them know if you got in elsewhere! That just seems (very!!) unfair to me and I was wondering if they had given you more details on why they were asking you about your other acceptances! database threads are hard to communicate on! :)

TTPB: Yes, in the offer letter it said they had over 800 applications for 25 spots

TTPB: Did the acceptance mail say anything about the acceptance rates this year, as one of the posters below claimed?

Generic email, 216 applicants which was 50% more than last year. I don't have any publications, but did some research in undergrad. Strong statement and LORs, Took a year detour into an education masters than dropped out because life is weird. Good luck all

TTPB: When and how did you guys receive the notification for the decision? To the person accepted, were you interviewed? I'm an applicant and still haven't heard anything.
