No interview. sent several emails to my POI(s) BEFORE and AFTER my application...but got no reply at all... (even if the website said that applicants are encouraged to contact faculty first) Bad application experience!!

around 7:30 pm (EST), reasonable, they said: Your Ph.D. application has been reviewed by the Stanford Graduate School of Education ?GSE?. At this time, he admissions committee is not able to recommend you for admission to the doctoral program. Each year, the number of applicants far exceeds the number of students we can admit; thus, many strong candidates cannot be offered admission. soc track has a lot of questions need to be answered anyway, i still like stanford GSE haha. my fav prof works here. i will be better!

Previously had a 15-min informal meeting with the prof, no formal interview.

Did not receive an email, however, I checked the portal, and my application has been forwarded to do Ed Policy master's program

worked so hard on my application, really thought I had a chance -- really disappointed :(

I haven't received an email update yet, but I was checking the website, and they have locked changes. I thought the decision was coming, and they rejected it. I didn't prepare my application very well, but I still feel sad. Good luck, everybody.

Rejected but they countered with an offer for admission to the MS with a scholarship.

Heartbroken; this was my dream program. GPA is from my most recent Masters. Congratulations to those who end up invited to join!
