To the CMU poster below, my field of interest is particle astrophysics. What are the 3 offers that you have? Kindly decline CMU because it is my last chance and I will forever be thankful to you.

To 'other' CMU poster below, in that case what is your field of interest and what are 3 other offers that you have?

Sorry, here is what they sent me via email. "Thank you for your application submission to the Physics and Astronomy Department at Texas A&M University. This year we received a high volume of impressive applicants, which has caused the Committee to make some difficult decisions. Unfortunately, all of our available spots have been filled for Fall 2016. Please know that this is not a reflection on your academic ability, and we wish you only the very best as you continue your educational pursuit."

Offered admission on second last (i.e. 14 April) day of offers in USA and asking whether I will be available for Fall 2016 or not. Since I already accepted PhD Physics offer in another school so I decline and withdraw from any offer immediately.

Declined my offer, good luck to you all!

Literally the most disappointed that I've ever been in my life.

"We thank you for your interest in our program and wanted to let you know that we have received our amount of acceptances we have room for and we do not anticipate extending any further offers at this time. In the unlikely event that we would receive a withdraw later of an acceptance of a Teaching Associate position, we would refer back to our wait list for a possible late offer of admission."

Rejected off the wait-list. Very disappointed.

To the TAMU post below: in which field did you apply???

I have not heard anything from TAMU. Anybody knows what's going on? I've applied for High Energy Theory and I am still waiting for the admission decision from TAMU. Personally, I hope it is true for us to have a chance to be admitted in the second round of offers. Hey, the international guy who was rejected, What is your field of interest? Could you tell us it?

To the TAMU poster below: Oh..God..Did your application status on TAMU AIS website change when you received the email? I applied for HEP-th, too, but I've not got any news from them. What's going on??? if the available slots for HEP-th no longer remain now, I should have been rejected like you....Ha....

There is no change in the status on AIS. The email from the graduate admission committee said :"This year we received a high volume of impressive applicants, which has caused the Committee to make some difficult decisions.
