Rejection with no interview. They sent an email saying the applicant portal was updated with the letter

Notification of waitlist via official program, then shortly after, direct email from PI saying that the first offer they extended had been accepted so the position was no longer open.

*Ignore Status* Has anyone heard from PI JF at Marquette regarding admissions decisions?

Was waitlisted for admission, this was my top choice, am devastated, HUGE congrats to all those who were offered admission.

Graduated with Bachelors in two years since I earned an Associate in high school, had research experience in two labs (cognitive and social psych labs), served as a TA for cognitive psychology and psychopathology courses, VP of my undergrad university Psi Chi chapter, and I currently hold other leadership positions at my undergrad university. I have presented research at 2 conferences, presented 2 community mental health presentations, have a publication I am revising, health related volunteer experience, and had amazing recommendation letters. I was told I was waitlisted on 1/25 and have not heard anything since.
