TTPB: me too haven't heard anything from UCONN's physics department. Have you contacted anyone? (POI or admission committee). May I know which Research Group or Professor you mentioned in your application and personal statement? Your reply may help me.

"Unfortunately, the Clinical Psychology, PsyD program is at this time not able to offer you an acceptance into this Fall's incoming class. This year's applications to the program were extraordinarily strong and very competitive making it extremely difficult to make our final decisions. I definitely encourage you to try applying again next year."

Sad but not surprised I know they had a bunch of applications and I wasn't the strongest candidate. Maybe I'll be back for my PhD I'm not sure

MCS program. got an email saying there was a status update. really happy that I got admitted. I have 1 yr work experience + 1 workshop publication in AAAI. Probably will be attending if I don't get any other better admits in the next 2 weeks

checked the website randomly to find out I was denied. Applied for non-thesis option. Really regret applying to this school, which doesn't even send a generic rejection letter. I had to check the portal every day in case there was an update.

Was about to log into Spire to check my status, and then realized I got a rejection in the morning. To be honest, feeling kind of relieved.

Accepted to the M.S. Advanced Architectural Design program!

Has anyone gotten the "official" offer letter yet? I received my funding letter, but that didn't include anything like a UIN so I'm not sure if I'm still supposed to receive anything else.

They kept asking me for my 3rd LOR but I had already 2 acceptances so I just declined their request but something must of happened because they rejected me but offered me an MA acceptance.

Checked my portal and saw that I was accepted. I have been accepted to my top program so I will be turning this one down. I hope it helps.

TPB: I guess letters are standard: "I am writing to let you know that you have been placed on our waitlist and are ranked high on our list of applicants to the PhD program. The offer process from this point on can be a bit unpredictable" and so on, plus open house invitation.

TPB: Wasn't interviewed, just a rejection
