Phone call from POI on 2/27! I'm definitely accepting :)

Had to email the professor I interviewed with, and he finally advised he had offered to someone else who accepted. Ah well, I had already accepted offer elsewhere anyway! :)

Very nice email from one of the faculty of the program letting me know that my application was in the top 40, but that they cannot offer admission (did not interview).

Thrilled about this and accepting the offer! Good luck to everyone!

I have just sent my official acceptance of the offer of admission and distinguished fellowship (4 years guaranteed ). MA degree, 7+ years clinical experience,5 posters, 1 symposium presentation, 3 papers (2 first-authors) and almost 2 years full-time research coordinator. This was my 4th round of applications- keep gaining experience in research and never give up. I would never have earned a fellowship on any previous rounds, this time I got 7 interviews and 4 offers. Don't give up if you really want this, it is worth the wait especially for a free ride.

I saw another poster mentioned they checked the website for the decision, so I did the same. No notification from UPenn to check website, but the letter was dated March 22nd.

No email from program to check website, but I checked and found my decision letter. I was not interviewed.

Rejection letter sent via post.

Requested to be taken off the list ; accepted an offer elsewhere. Good luck.

Any one planning on rejecting their offer from CUNY or on an unofficial waitlist?
