Political Science Graduate School Admission Results

Am heartbroken. Kind phone call from program director--said they got a record number of apps this year.

Argh-all the schools I applied to were so incompetent in telling me if I was in or not. I had to CALL each one on my own. Got rejected here too--wth! I'm sick of applying to grad schools.

They there were only a limited number of spots and even more limited for fellowships. Will be applying to all the same schools again next year. :(

Really wanted to come to NYC...Oh well, Indiana will have to do.

Got a nice email. Second year applying-am surprised I didn't get in.

So relieved to finally have this process over! Will be accepting offer.

E-mail said they were not accepting anyone off the waitlist.

I received a terse and impersonal rejection letter. What made it even less personal, was that it was addressed to someone other than myself. It wasn't the correct name, town, gender, or even STATE. This is gross incompetence. Sent an email complaint to admissions and to the program staff.
