Graduate School Admission Results

I have lots of Optimization& Math related courses with grades in the A range. My upper-division GPA is above 3.8.

No interviews.

guess because I did not take GRE/GMAT at all

Ignore status. Was wondering if anyone has heard anything. If you look at the historical record from this program in previous years all of the admission decisions had been released on the same day or at most a day apart. Yet the two posts below there is an acceptance on the 9th and a rejection on the 14th? Is this a silent rejection? It just seems strange given the record from previous years for this program being so consistent. Let me know if anyone has heard anything.

This year the Operations Research Center received a large number of applications from outstanding candidates, and we are in the unfortunate situation of having many more qualified applicants than we have spaces in our program. Therefore, even though your credentials are very strong, we regret that we are unable to offer you admission to the interdepartmental graduate degree program in Operations Research.

Oh well. Had applied to the ORC. Non-generic rejection email. All the best to everyone else!
