Graduate School Admission Results

Ignore wl. TTPB: The email "Your application to the Graduate Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) has received a favorable evaluation from the admissions committee of the Architecture, Computer Systems & Embedded Systems (ACSES) track. I am pleased to inform that I have recommended to the Dean of Graduate Studies that you be admitted into our program for the Fall 2021 semester to pursue a Master's degree in the ACSES Track of ECE" I think there are still some ad this month (may be two weeks).

MASc. Interviewed w/POI in February, informal offer in March, official offer letter in April.

Not wait-listed. Has anyone heard back from them? When are they going to send out their decisions?

(ignore interview) Any one who knows when the final decision will be released at the latest? or when the second round of rejection would come out? I didn't have any updates from now on. What is happening?

It's 4/6 already. Still hear nothing from the department. Hello? Is anyone there? Are they going to tell me the result or not? It's unbelievable o_O!

They did not have any intention of sending out the admits and basically needed some funding with the application fees. They could have just asked for it, i would have given them even more, why be so indirect about being a poor college LOL

Feel so good! since this institution release this rejection before April 15 at the latest. Some schools seem to release it after April 15

i did not receive an email saying its a reject. I've logged in everyday to see and it says nothing and today I login and it's like status update posted 31st March. I am baffled at how such a esteemed college does this.

TTPB: Does these supervisors are from the UBC Vancouver campus?

The mail read .. "Due to a high number of deferrals, we cannot offer admission this season.. defer for spring/fall next season ... blah blah" Man, I considered this to be a safe school.
