Graduate School Admission Results

Received a note that I was rejected, but that my play had gotten a second read.

TTPB: (Ignore WL) And to add to that, even if you do get accepted, they would only give you 2 weeks to make a decision and a $4,000 security deposit to pay (which is a lot). I submitted my application 5 months ago and still no status. I feel like I should just give up at this point lol.

Acceptance letter didn't say anything about funding. Anyone know if funding will be offered at some point?

Ignore WL: This is getting unacceptable... and it's hurting my ability to decide on other schools... If this is how serious they treat us as applicants, I think it reflects on the integrity of the program as well...

CS - Data Science: Was rejected from the program via email today. I guess a positive is that my application was automatically recommended for review for the CSES program (MSCS degree with extra classes for students with not enough CS background). Guess we just have to wait and see. Congratulations to everyone that was accepted, and good luck to those that are still waiting.

Recieved an email from the prof regarding the accept. Given a week's time

Had already committed elsewhere since NYU sent the decision weeks after every other deadline despite emailing them and asking for an update on the timeline...

Applied on 31st March, still on review by degree department (27/4)

I applied to early admission decision but I have not heard back until now. I am very disappointed about this delay. I have committed to a school that is a better fit for me so it still worked out well.

Graduated from Bilkent University (Turkey) - Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2.84/4 GPA. ECTS credits for each subject requested by the RWTH, easily satisfied. The program that I applied for is Systems and Automation. However, RWTH offered conditional admission to the program and wanted me to take 3 undergrad courses, which I think it is related to the topics covered in the courses that I took during my BS studies (not related to the letter grades). No details about my undergrad academic studies and recommendations from professors are included in my application.

Received an acceptance letter via email this morning. No interview. GRE waived.
