Does everyone who is not accepted get put on the "alternate list" or is this an actual wait list?

Emailed and asked, they will start letting people know by March 23rd

To the MGH acceptee who received a $35,000 scholarship, could you please post your stats? I haven't gotten scholarships anywhere and I want to know what it takes to be competitive for them. Thanks.

I also had an undergrad research project, stellar recommendation letters, am NSSLHA president, and 3.79 the last 2 years.

To waited-listed below, people are probably waiting to accept or decline based on what they hear about financial aid offers or they want to wait until April 15th. You might have to wait a while for a result.

Okay so I just posted my acceptance a few minutes ago, I called the school and they said it is real:-) don't worry if you're email said {SPAM} you got in. Good luck to everyone.

So excited! My email said {spam} on it as well...Is it real? I sure do hope so.

I think not stating an interest in Deaf issues or aural rehab weakened my app, but I'm happy because I got accepted into other top-ranked schools.

Received a call from Kurt Kitselman. I am #9 on the wait list, which he said is mid-level. They will contact wait listers who are accepted by April 17.
