Graduate School Admission Results

I'm international student, I have undergraduate degree in US. The Columbia GSAS rejected me. I was fine until I saw on website "Unfortunately, admissions committees must base their decisions on materials that reduce unique individuals such as you to the components of their applications dossier." I don't quite understand what does it mean by "reduce unique individuals such as you to the components of their applications dossier" This is feels like an insult. Does anyone have similar respones?

TTPB: I was about to post the same thing. June 1st passed and we have not seen anything. It is like their last time when they said the majority of decisions will be sent out in May 1st. I would not be surprised if they send another email saying that "the responses will be sent out in July 1st due to tremendous number of application we have". Just accept me or reject me but do not leave hanging not knowing what to do.

Was waitlisted earlier. USC said decisions will be out on June 1. It is June 2 & there's still no decision.

3.47/4.0 gpa in physics, one first author publication, 3 research experience. applied to 7 plasma programs and got into 4

Did even someone got in today? I am still waiting to hear back. I know it's not worth to wait but anyways .. but this is ridiculous from reputed Columbia Can someone tell from which email address you got the mail? I am worried if it went into spam box

B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from WPI. Four years of experience as a data scientist.

Got the call this morning! Was not expecting this!! Interview was 5/27 and application was complete shortly after. 3.32 undergrad GPA in Speech & Hearing Sciences, no GREs, great LORs and personal essay.

At last, I got a notification regarding my admission status. I do not get why they did not send me an email earlier seeing that I was rejected and not on the waiting list. 5 and a half month is time enough to think and torture you mind ... Congrats to everyone that got in !

Just got rejected, MSCS. Not that it matters, already accepted a better program elsewhere. Imagine being strung along for months smh, someone at Columbia's grad admissions seriously dropped the ball this year.

I am currently finishing my Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security with a GPA of 3.82 at top 200 university in Europe. 116/120 at TOEFL.
