Found out we'll be finding out where we are on the waitlist this week (the week of 3/28). Hoping for the best!

I got my acceptance letter and couldn't be more excited!

I also got the 'several weeks' comment a few weeks ago. I'm wondering how many rounds they have already done? And how many left there are. This whole graduate process is a bit of a mystery to me!

Did you really want to go there or did you not care?

Just wondering if anyone out there has heard anything from Cal State LA. I know their CD department had mentioned something about sending out notifications this week.

I called today and the admissions lady said they are still processing applications and there is still a chance of getting in. She said they would tell after April 1st.

(This is the same wait listed student) I almost forgot to add that I think part of the problem was that CSDCAS sent my application super late. I got everything in by the end of December and my info didn't get mailed until after the Feb. deadline. I hope it helps!

To the poster below: Yes, my status changed to "University Acceptance" a few days before I received my letter in the mail.

To the previous poster, I was wait listed and I just posted my stats. I also had a 3.9 in my major and I have CT State Teacher's Certification. I called UConn today, but only got a voice mail. I will let you know if I hear anything new.

To the poster below: I applied for the initial teaching certificate program and was accepted on March 17th. It seems as though some people have heard since then, so don't give up!

To the poster abt TC below- i have not heard anything either, im assuming it wont be good news at this point :( oh well, i knew it was a longshot anyways

To the post re Towson or Loyola - are you applying to the 2 year or 3 year program? If 3 year, the Loyola program offers more time during the first year if you wanted to work, etc., since its courses are only two evenings per week. If 2 year, you may want to visit each program and see which you prefer. Both have 100% Praxis pass rates and 100% employment placement (for graduates seeking employment).

I applied to the MS-SLP-initial teaching certificate program and have not heard back yet.

I have called FAU many times and no one ever answers! I'm still waiting to hear also.

To the people accepted to Temple that were notified via Postal- did your status change on the online application as well? Mine still says "complete and ready to review". i am just wondering if that will change prior to receiving the letter.. thank you and congrats!
