To the URI poster, I know someone in the program and they really like the small size of the program and the professors!

Anyone accepted to bloomsburg thinking of going elsewhere?

I've been accepted to both programs and they're of equal distance from my hometown (i did my undergrad in NY). Wondering if anyone had advice? URI has offered me money, is a TINY program and seems extremely interested in me while MGH has done literally nothing (except its preference at the hospital for placements and it's higher ranking) to entice me to go there. Is anybody else also making this decision?

I completely agree. It is ridiculous. I had to send a $500 nonrefundable deposit to another school today and could not wait any longer to hear from MSU. They do this every year I hear.

Is this program good for those who want to work with adults?

I was notified by email on Monday that I was accepted to the extended master's program. And the decision deadline is the 15th of April.

I'm assuming I got an acceptance in the mail (I'm up at school right away from home and no one is at my house to check the mail yet) but I got an email inviting me to the accepted students day. My interview was last Monday the 21st. She said during the interview that decisions would start going out the last week in March. She also said if you are waitlisted the list moves fast because a lot of the first people accepted end up choosing other schools. I'm pretty sure I will not be accepting my spot so I hope it helps someone else!

To the post below about Western Michigan University. They have a fantastic program. I had a few professors in the CSD department who are from their and they were brilliant and spoke highly of the program. The program is especially great for those interested working with children and in the school setting. I chose not to apply there due to my interest being in voice and adults.
