Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

I am doing the exact same thing! I didnt sleep last night because I am so nervous! Lol I have called them at the beginning of march and they said 5 to 6 weeks from the deadline date. I just want an answer!

This is the third program that has placed me on the wait listed. No acceptances, yet:-( I really I hope I get in somewhere!

I haven't heard anything from St. John's yet either. My latest deadline for other schools is April 15th, so if they don't get to me by then, I won't even be able to consider going there if I get accepted. I really wish these schools would try to get their decisions out at around the same time. It would make this process a little less stressful.

I was hoping this was an April Fools joke :(

still waiting and am unfortunately concluding that i haven't been accepted into the extended masters program; as anyone received a rejected in the last couple of weeks.

I agree about the diversity/ it is more than just grades component. I am a minority, not from US originally, speak 3 languages, and lived in Africa for 2 years volunteering for the disabled children of south Africa project. Plus my essay on diversity, reqs and work experience for 8 years were stellar.

To the SJSU post below: Has your online status changed? I have not heard back either, but am still hoping for the best.

I think "haven't heard" = rejection since the acceptance emails have been sent out.

Well I have a 3.9 and I volunteered for 8 years for the disabled and I also speak 3 languages, yet they rejected me, I am also a minority!

I got an email saying "Dear Admitted Students,..." but I haven't gotten my letter yet. Is this a cruel April Fool's joke? Did anyone else get this email? I don't want to get my hopes up.

Accepted to University of Alberta on March 10th, still waiting to hear from University of Toronto.

Has anyone thats interviewed at lehman heard back from them? Does anyone know when we will hear back?

I have already posted but I am writing to another poster. I was not previously wait-listed. My letter in the mail saying I was rejected was the only thing I had received from them. Good luck!

Rush sent out acceptances through email in early March. Today is their last admitted students day so I would think that if you haven't heard from them you're wait listed or rejected. Contact Dianne_H_Meyer@rush.edu. She's the program director and good at responding to emails.

Does anyone know if rush is still handing out acceptances? I havn't heard anything and I'm getting worried....

Columbia looks for unique and DIVERSE individuals..if you look over there website you can see they are all about diversity. For example if you speak 4 languages and have traveled around the world volunteering or working to help those disadvantaged they will pick you over someone with a 4.0!
