Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

I am also deciding between BU and NYU. Any feedback/thoughts on the program would be greatly appreciated.

I was accepted to NYU and BU. I had an interview at NYU and did not get a good vibe from it. I did not have the opportunity to visit BU. Has anyone visited both programs and able to offer their opinion? I'm almost positive I'll be picking BU, but I wanted to hear some thoughts first.

I was definitely more impressed with BU over MGH. Anyone else think so?

I sent in my decline notice, but I think if you're on the waitlist you probably have a little while to wait. The acceptances went out so recently. I'd at least give it until after the 15th.

Fellow PSU waitlist person: I am in the same boat, I live in Portland and would love the opportunity to go to PSU. I haven't heard anything since the waitlist notification letter.

Has anyone else who was waitlisted at Portland heard back yet? I was accepted elswhere but really would like Portland.

Has anyone heard from the Univ of Hawaii yet? I know they had a late deadline date for applications but I was wondering if they had notified anyone yet.

To the poster below, I am unable to attend the accepted students reception (also a pretty long drive for me). Since it's only two hours I'm assuming it won't be a big deal if I miss it so I'm probably just going to visit over the summer.

Just wondering if it is important to attend the "new acceptance " reception. 4 hour drive each way, for a 2 hour event? Already was there...anyone have a thought? Will go, it lots of other are attending?

I received my financial aid letter last monday, but I found out about my acceptance on the 17th. Received all loans. Person at financial aid office said you can appeal for work study if you did not receive any. Also said most scholarships have already been distributed, but to contact the department to see if they have already done so.
