There are too many applications from South Asia to European countries this year, so they have kind of elevated the requirements the competition is tough.

Got an email to check the portal with a status update. The portal had my rejection letter.

Before applying to this college, I already sent an email to show my interest then I was interviewed at that time and presented my research works to the professor. Professor then at last said to apply but didn't provide any confirmation. After applying I sent email again to that professor to inform my application number. After 40 days of submitting application, I sent an email again to professor, to show my interest in joining. All the best.

Applied for Physics and ECE, got into ECE with RA funding as a direct PhD with REU experience.
