To the poster below, Are you still waiting for UC davis? and Do you know if UC davis are stilling offering any admissions? I have not heard from them yet. I am applying for Master.

To the PhD Applicant status below. USC takes a very different approach to PhD and is really selective for PhD admits. The reason for this is USC is very stingy with funds and takes very few PhD admits. So ya chances are lesser than masters admits. Although i personally dont know anyone who got a PhD in USC CS this late, USC is a school which gives rolling admits and yes you still have a shot at it.

To the status below, I kill myself every night that i did not apply to twin cities. It is excellent for data mining/data sciences(which is also my preferred subfield). Overall USC is better though. If money is a real problem, go for twin cities without thinking. USC is really famous for its alumni network and career fairs. It does not give any TA/RA and is super expensive. Minessota might have a problem with location but for CS you can easily move about and school is not that big a deal. Btw congrats of twin cities, Fantastic admit.

To the Poster for USC below. Funny thing is I really dont have an accept deadline. So no dont assume you are rejected. I have heard success stories in USC even uptil late May. Besides the school isnt too selective so you should have a decent shot. I myself am gonna most probably accept it with the next 4 days.

To the people who got admits from USC, when is the deadline to confirm your admission? For the rest of us, can we assume that we are rejected?
