Yale University Graduate School Admission Results

International student, no funding.

Took me a week to build up the courage to open my email. Generic email to check portal. Generic link in portal to check decision. Acceptance letter started with "Thank you" so my heart initially dropped, but it went on to say "congratulations". This acceptance is significant because I have spent the past 10-15 years with the singular goal of getting into Yale. I have received many rejection letters over the years from Yale and as a direct result of them destroying my life and thrusting me into the darkest pit of despair, I have tried in various forms to commit su*cide. But today, I live.

IGNORE WAITLIST. Has anyone heard back from this program? I've seen in previous years that they have released their decisions by the first week of March.

Did they take any MA students this year..?

didn't have high hopes given how this cycle is going

Was given a call around 3pm. Seems they're running late this year compared to other years.

Feeling pretty bummed out to be waitlisted, but still trying to remain hopeful that I might get accepted eventually (the chances are grim, I suppose...) Further notification will be announced after Apr 15th, 2023.
