This program seems a little odd

Since interviews had already gone out, I knew I was rejected. Still stings a bit.

Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS)

No interview

1.1/1.0 GPA from German TU9 in Engineering Physics. Received two scholarships during undergrad and did lots of extracurriculars. Research experience in machine learning and three other relevant internships. Three strong LORs from professors I worked with during my bachelor's thesis.

email to check portal; no interview or previous contact with poi. applied with the mindset of a ‘practice’ cycle so am shocked to receive any acceptances, let alone from yale.

BBS Immunology

Checked portal directly. Still no email. Good luck everyone! 0a/3r/1p (technically, but I know it’s a R)

ignore interview. has anyone else not heard back from yale for american studies? i'm getting very anxious!

One publication, three research positions, three academic awards, and a summa cum laude thesis at a top 3 US liberal arts college. Currently getting a masters at a top 15 global history program.

Was waiting for this to come for weeks now and its a bit ridiculous that it took this long with just a short email to check the portal. Hoping I would at least have gotten on the waitlist but now I'm ready to just commit to my top choice that accepted me. By the looks of it I wouldn't be suprised if its a micro sized cohort this year all things considered.
