Update: Accepted via email on 1/15/14 and was waiting for financial aid award. I just received a call informing me that I have been awarded a $45,000 scholarship. YES!!!

I received a very nice personalized e-mail from the DGS informing me that I was "at the very top" of their wait list (I had contacted them for program information several days ago). Once you get your acceptances, please decline if you are not attending!

3.97 master's degree, 2 conference posters. I had attended an online grad fair and the rep told me I should apply after I discussed my credentials. They rejected it so soon it looked like they had an automatic cutoff and wasn't reviewed and the rep was just yanking my chain.

I got emailed by one of the professors I interviewed with today, but official acceptance is supposed to come tomorrow.
