University of Washington Computational Linguistics Graduate School Admission Results

Applied to the PhD program, admitted to the MA program. No word on funding.

I applied for the PhD and was recommended for admission into the masters program. There was no mention of acceptance or rejection from the PhD program. An official admissions letter will be coming shortly.

Interaction design is a new major and Just 1 teacher. I regreted that I did not read its brochure clearly before. But I accepted their rejection.

Also inquired about the status of application by phone and got an email from the school stating that they had way too many applicants this year.

Funding likely won't be determined until April

Got into Berkeley/UCSF though!

after I inquired, said they had just made the final decisions. I guess all the applicants will be notified their admission status soon.

"Deny - The admissions committee in Philosophy (PhD) has made the decision to deny your application for admission. You will receive further information either by email or postal mail.Application Complete." A good match, too.

No funding, although "it is still possible to find an assistantship after enrolling in the program" and they will know more about TA availability right before the start of the quarter.
