They say that the results would be ready by late March. Today, April 4th I received a rejection letter. As an international aplicant, it seems like a scam to me.

Ignore waitlist. Has anyone received a rejection from UWash so far or heard anything back?

Ignore waitlist. Does anyone knows why there are frequent acceptance at some random time but never heard about waitlist or rejection yet. I am eagerly waiting for UW.

HEP-th. Research experience for more than 3 years. Currently doing a Masters at a top UK university, 2 papers, 990 Physics GRE. Finally, the wait is over! This is my second year applying and this year also had to see a few rejections till now. For those who are still waiting, don't lose hope. For first-time applicants who have not been accepted yet, don't give up. Find an opportunity (may be a really good masters program place or a project) where you can keep on learning and working in the field of your interest so that you come back with a better profile the next time.
