Was waitlisted back in April, and received a phone-call with admissions on Friday May 25th....ecstatic!

YES!!! Off the waitlist. Second time around. I am beyond excited! My dreams are finally coming true!

Received a phone call letting me know that I have been accepted off of the waitlist! ECSTATIC! Was waitlisted last year, and was ultimately rejected. For all of those who have been waitlisted/rejected, don't give up, an extra year of experience really does make a difference.

Waitlisted in April. Angela called this morning offering a position. Applied for MH/H stream - was also accepted 1st round at a different school so I'm unsure if I will be keeping this position deposit needs to be paid within 2 weeks.

Accepted early April - 3.9 in the last 3 years of undergrad including a stellar stats grade, some volunteer experience in the field, full-time employment throughout undergrad. Accepting JD/MSW combined degrees, so will be starting the MSW in 2013

My average is 83% so an A-. I have several years of experience including working with youth involved with the law and women who have experienced violence. Since I am currently still in my undergrad, all of the experience I have is part-time or summer full-time work. Good luck to everyone on the waitlist! Don't lose hope.

To the poster below who asked for my stats: I went in with a B+ average; 4 years of volunteer experience with children and youth with diverse needs and 1 practicum experience related to my field of interest. As mentioned below, Angela didn't mention how many people were on the wait list but you could email her and ask. Good luck to those on the wait list!

My second time applying. I got on to the wait list last year too. I really really really hope a spot opens up for me. Fingers are crossed!

I was wait listed and received a phone call from Angela Umbrello this morning, she said a spot was open and if I would be interested, I said yes! To the poster below, she did not disclose anything about number of people on wait list. But be hopeful! I heard many people who are wait listed get accepted in the end :)
