Got a call earlier by the head of department informing me about my acceptance! Currently doing my MSW. 2years of research experience, 5 years of practice experience. no GRE.

I'm beyond excited to start the MSW program in September!! It's so important to write the personal statement thoughtfully, especially the question on what your most important achievement is.

On March 27th, I logged into my ACRON account to see a status update of "invited" (in yellow text) on the home page along with an outstanding admission deposit (in bolded red text). Come the next morning at 9am, I received an email to check my status in the SGS portal- which is where I was able to view my official acceptance document. I have an undergrad in gerontology and health studies from McMaster University and took two years off after graduating in 2021 to get work and more volunteer experience (I work as a rec manager at a retirement home). It was my first time applying for grad programs. I feel very grateful to have this opportunity- wishing everyone nothing but luck in their application process and moving forward! Checked the website got waitlisted

got an email that there was an update to my application, logged into portal which said I have been waitlisted.

Waitlisted, unfortunately, hoping for acceptance before the term starts!

Advance standing

Canadian applicant to advanced standing MSW. Have not received official notification of acceptance yet, but ACORN portal is showing invited with a deposit due to secure spot.

Rejection with a memorandum. The first suggestion is increasing work experience. So I guess that work experience may be an important admission criterion.
