University of Toronto Mathematics Graduate School Admission Results

Does anyone know if first round offers have all been sent or what stage in the admissions process are they at? I'm receiving no reply to the emails

Expected the rejection letter to come, and for it to come during the April 15th resolution. Had a stronger 3rd and 4th year GPA, but historically not the strongest grades.

(ignore the waitlist)TTPB: Same, haven't heard back anything since February. Neither any of my friends. Email the department before, and they said the majority of the offers will come in March and April.

(Ignore Waitlist) Has anyone received any updates since February? It seems like the first-round offers were out for a while, so just wondering if they're done with all offers and maybe those of us not yet rejected are automatically waitlisted?

Email accepted. I will be turning down the offer though for another program. So a spot on the wait list will open up I guess.

Also received conditional acceptance to PhD program.

I believe the personal connection with the faculty worked in my case.

Domestic student, 1 year - $22,500 funding + 175hrs of TAing. Required to take 4/6 core courses (or pass the corresponding prelim exam) and maintain an A- average in order to be considered for the PhD program. Notifications will be sent out in the coming weeks. Director told me there won't be a waitlist this year and everyone that has not yet received an offer (me included) will not be getting an offer for Fall 2020.

TTPB: Pure Mathematics, I got the exact same email from them. I am a domestic candidate. Good luck to everyone who is going to accept or already acepted.

Just in case u wonder: "The graduate office is currently working on processing all notices to international and domestic applicants regarding 2020-2021 academic session. If you have not received an official notice of acceptance from our office, we regret to inform you that you have not been accepted into program for the 2020-2021 session. An official notice will be sent out to applicants in the coming weeks."

TTPB: Did you receive an e-mail to check the website? Did you contact them? Also, has anyone else got rejected/accepted? Mine still says "under review..."
