Rejected from MASc. Accepted to MEng

Got email telling me to check SGS website for admission decision.

Finally got my rejection letter this morning. Received an email saying a decision was made on the SGS website. It took so long!

Still havent hear back from them. No email for waitlist or anything. No rejection. Is it just me? :(

Accepted but with no scholarships.

I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission. Your application was given careful consideration. Graduate departments receive many applications and can only offer admission to a limited number of the most highly qualified applicants. Admission decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

Applied to all three grade levels. Rejected from I/S, waitlisted for J/I and accepted to P/J.

TTPB: How were you notified about the rejection?

South American student, ranked first in my class

Rejected after being put onto the wait list for over 2 months

Submitted in late February. Received email that my results came in today. Offer of admittance with some funding.

Has anyone heard back yet from admissions? Still put on the waitlist, wanting to know if anyone was taken off and accepted?

Does anyone know if first round offers have all been sent or what stage in the admissions process are they at? I'm receiving no reply to the emails

International applicant, BSc and MSc at top3 Canadian university. Good gpa and reference letters. I posted about my waitlist status here before. Yesterday I emailed again to check for updates and today got the rejection email from the admission office. Talked with my POI and was told that there were only two international spots for the entire dept. this year, and the priority goes to the younger professors. Tough year, and best of luck to all others who are waiting for results!

Email rejection, was suprised it did not direct to check portal

Was sent an email from the graduate coordinator saying to check my SGS. Was offered direct entry PhD but decided to stick with a MSc for now. Super excited!
