University of Toronto Information Graduate School Admission Results

Poster Below: No, this is the only school that I have applied so far! I wasn't planning to go to grad school then I became interested in ischool. I am currently working full time as a graphic designer at med-size company so I am thinking about building more experience+portfolio then applying to other schools. I am U of T undergraduate. I thought I have strong letters of references but apparently not lol I am trying not to stress over this situation. The way this admission committee treats applicants is very, very unprofessional.

They are taking too long to review the application. I tried to email Andrea and asked her regarding my application, but she's kept saying that she has forwarded my email to admission committee. Om They told me that my application is in "the final stage" of review like a month ago LOL.

Applied the night of May 15, contacted the office a few times, and excited to have gotten in!

Accepted to MI program at the iSchool, received email in the morning

3.8 GPA, very strong LoRs. I emailed and asked for an early consideration and received an acceptance less than 24 hours later. So absolutely relieved! Best of luck to everyone else :)

To the person who received earlier consideration, I emailed iSchool (not Andrea) but they said they're reviewing first come first served. When did you submit your application?

To the people who got admitted into the Master of Information degree, did you get any mail about your application being processed by the Awards committee? I didn't get an admit yet and the portal isn't updated, but I got the above mail. Does that mean that they have decided to admit me?

To the person asking about acceptance. I received that email about two hours before receiving my acceptance. You should check Acorn and see if you have been invited to enroll in courses.

I checked both ACORN and ROSI, no updates anywhere. I guess I'll check a little later.

got an email yesterday notifying me to check the website for official letter - today I received info about welcome day and that my app is now being considered for scholarships. applied Jan 31.

Logically, if they are considering my application for financial awards, shouldn't that mean that they have accepted my application for admission? Has anyone received a mail about being considered for awards and not been given admission?

I emailed the advisor about the scholarship email, she said "the two processes are separate". Keep waiting and good luck guys!!
