SGS still says until 'under review' but just checked on ROSI/ACORN and both say invited for MI 2017/2018 start date. super excited but still awaiting funding/scholarship info.

ROSI changed on Monday, no email/mail yet. International student but did undergrad in Canada. Applied in end of Jan. Wonder when will receive official letter...

To the Canadian student below who was accepted to the Master of Information today, when did you submit your application? How was your GPA and work experience? I am getting so anxious about hearing back now, I literally check my status every hour or so. :(

Hi, does anyone think I should still apply? The deadline isn't until April 31, and I'm almost done my application. What do you think are the chances there are still spots left? Speaking to that, what do you think about Rolling Admission in general? Does it secretly mean the deadline is ASAP instead of the one they say?

I'm a domestic student and applied in February. Still haven't gotten a response, GPA wasn't that great overall but was okay in final 2 years. Have some work experience. I have a feeling I'm gonna get rejected cuz of low GPA, it seems like everyone's gotten accepted so far has an amazing GPA and work experience isn't valued as much as grades... I just need to know if it's a yes/no so I can carry on with life. Had I known they would be this slow at responding, I would have applied else where. I'm seriously going to be pissed as @$&* if they reject me. After all this waiting... God damn, I've never been so anxious about a school decision before. This is worse than going from highschool to undergrad.

I'm thrilled to bits right now!! I emailed the ischool this morning asking about the status of my application and they replied to me saying my offer package was already mailed out on March 23!!! I'm from China and have an MA degree from Hong Kong. Yay!!!! Best of luck everyone!!!!

hey poster below! no it was my third or fourth time asking them lol....My application was completed in early January. I highly suggest everyone who is pressed for time emailed the ischool! Andrea is very nice and helpful!

To the Master of Information applicant below, I'm in the same boat. Still waiting for a response. I've emailed them multiple times for updates and they just keep saying they will respond in the coming weeks. At this point, I get a sick feeling I'm going to get rejected because they seem to be filling up the spots with applicants on a random basis, so even if you applied earlier, an individual who applied later might get accepted before you. (At least this is what it seems like) I've been anxious for months and I'm slowly just accepting the fact that the chances are slim. Sigh.

To the poster below. I am also still waiting for a result. Andrea told me that there is no update and wasn't able to give me idea when they are notifying all candidates. Sigh.

I sent in my completed application before the January deadline and still have not heard anything! Have emailed both Andrea and the iSchool admissions 3 times and they cannot give me a direct answer. I'm a domestic student with a Major in English Literature. High GPA in the last two years of my undergrad. I have archive and research experience, plus I have worked in a bookstore for the past 4 years and will be working in a library this summer. Getting pretty anxious that this is taking so long!

To the master of information poster below, I'm sorry to hear about the rejection. You have a great GPA and work experience , I agree that is a ridiculous decision made by them. I'm still waiting to hear back and have a sick feeling a rejection is coming my way as well. This school is ridiculous, they seem prioritize international students over domestic who have no experience at all. They just want to make maximum profits off students (ie international fees being higher than domestic). So ridiculous. And waiting this long just for a rejection is absolute garbage.

I applied around early January and still waiting. Emailed numerous times and they are telling me it is in the final stage of review... Like seriously? It has been two weeks since then.

Poster Below: I know!!!! It's so unfair. It shouldn't take this long. Did you try to email them? Andrea seems to be helpful but she can't give me a clear answer.. I feel like it's gonna be rejection for me looking at other's stats (I have low cgpa: 3.18 but last 2 year I have 3.6 gpa, no relevant experience other than working as a graphic designer lol).... sigh.
