Out of field applicant, post-bacc classes completed at a different university, research experience, limited clinical experience, good GRE scores.

I am very frustrated with this application process. I have already accepted my offer from UT Austin, but I was never notified by UT Dallas Admissions that I was or was not on the waitlist, even well after the deadline of April 15th for most school decisions. My application was not reviewed at all until mid-June. However, when I emailed the program in mid-May, they informed me that they were essentially full for Fall 2022. I take this as my application was probably not even reviewed since they had already met their cap. I am happy with my choice for Fall 2022, but was disappointed by the lack of communication from this branch of a well-respected system.

I got accepted first round! I think it is because of my GRE and GPA. I did not have many volunteer hours, but I had clinic experience this spring semester that I noted in my application and I have relevant job experience!

Definitely a low GPA, but I'd hoped that my above average GRE would make up for it. Oh well. I have a few other acceptances, so nothing to get too cut up about. Congrats to those who were accepted!
