received the email in the morning and can't be more grateful! five-years funding package which includes 4 yrs of TA/RA and 1 yr fellowship (pretty standard). plus annual travel and conference funding. no interview. Strong rec letter from a prof who knows my scholarship well and is well-known in this field of study, no previous contact with POI, no publication, no work experience. applying from a different major but with a minor in media. it is a big program so it's easy to find research overlap w/ several potential supervisors.

Finally, the wait is over. They offered to transfer my application to masters but I won't do that. I have another great offer from my top choice anyway

5 research projects, multiple publications, one academic conference, multiple internships. Super happy receiving this very first offer!

0.5yr BSc research. 1.5yrs MSc research, MSc GPA 4.0, 1.5yrs post-grad research job in US academia. 1 paper (not 1st author). TOEFL 105.

Not waitlist. Has anyone heard from USC after the interview?

Just got a congratulations email from the graduate department with the funding details. I thought I was declined because there was no update on my portal when other's acceptance letter was given, still nothing showing on my you.usc.edu. So happy that I got admitted. Looking forward to connecting with other accepted students! I was accepted to two other schools in communication so hope the waitlisted people get admitted!

was interviewed in January. then was invited for the campus tour as an admitted candidate. very happy for a day then they emailed again said that was a mistake and I was actually rejected. very confusing.
