I received an email to check the status, but there is no update on the portal. Anyone else facing the same issue?

Quantum Info; unofficially admitted by the committee chair, probably won't attend because of better offers.

Quantum info theory, no interview

Emailed by PI for a quick zoom meeting and he told me I was accepted! Official decision to come in a week or so.

Just about 3 months later then everyone else lol. Not sure what happened.

Did anyone hear from USC? I still did not get any news even though end of the May is coming.

Rej email after inquiry, hep-th! Application season is over. International applicant, 1 acceptance, 21 rej. (so close to all rej, can't imagine. ). An awful year, but good luck with everyone!

TTPB: I had an interview mid-Jan, was told I would get a decision in a couple weeks. Reached out mid-Feb, the interviewed said by the end of the month but could not give any more info. Reached out to coordinator early March and did not hear back :/

Hep-th. Rejection Email upon enquiry. But status page still shows "under review".

Any news from QI/QC? Saw two offers past weeks. What is sub-field? Were those official from the admission office or unofficial ones from Profs?

Unofficial email of acceptance from a faculty professor. Cosmology, a Master's degree and 2 papers published.

Emailed by a professor. No interview. Submitted app on the 1st.

I will decline the offer from USC. Finally, I obtained 2 acceptance letters from 11 applications. The outcome is pretty much that I expected before the process. I will attend to USCB for Fall 2020 to do research on Classical and Quantum black holes.
