University of Rochester Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Some professors at my graduate school told me: that if you want to apply for the University of Rochester's political science Department, you would best have 90% or even full scores on the math of GRE; also you would better have many "A" in your transcript and attend quant focused courses. Sadly, my GRE's math percentile is only 70%

Another reject via e-mail. Maybe PhD option is not for me?

Very kind email from the department. PLEASE!! Kindly let them know on time if you're not enrolling. Processing a visa as an international student takes a looot of time; a process which cannot even begin until admission.

Got an email to check the portal and found out that I’ve been waitlisted (had one interview w/ 2 of the faculty in early Feb)

Not waitlisted, but got a very kind email from department asking me if I would like to switch my application to MA for a better chance due to my materials and experience! This is so exciting.

Emailed me the acceptance. Life science major + compsci minor in undergrad. Offered 50% scholarship for all semesters. Applied in Nov 2024.
