I'm glad they rejected me. They suck. Who would ever want to go toa school in Illinois with a bunch of backwood idiots.

Sent an email to the director of grad admissions last Wednesday and his assistant sent me my rejection this morning. This is 4 in a row.

Was admitted to Princeton but not UIUC. Not mad, just confused.

Received generic rejection email from associate head of admissions on Sunday !! I am writing to regretfully inform you that we will not be able to offer you a place in the University of Illinois Physics Graduate Program. We received a record number of applications this year, and because we have a limited number of openings in each research area, we must unfortunately turn away many highly qualified students. I regret that we cannot take more of the excellent students that were in our applicant pool this year. I hope you find a graduate physics program that fits your research interests and I wish you the best in your promising future career.
