University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Electrical And Computer Engineering Graduate School Admission Results

UIUC MCS and UMass MSCS - both have deadlines today, and I haven't heard from either. No email. No website status change. Anybody in the same boat? Seeing the UIUC bloodbath below, I am feeling like a prisoner waiting to be executed.

No interview. Applied for MS CS.

MCS. 1.5 years work ex at very well known company. Didn't submit LOR

Purdue CompE GPA 3.12

Disappointed :/

MCS program. At least got a result by the decision deadline.

TTPB: UIUC respects the decision timelines. Last year, they sent an email informing (on 16th March) that the decisions will be out by 31st March as there was a delay. That's why you see posts till 1 April. Let's see if we get an email today with a rejection or to communicate a delay.

TTPB: I would not trust so much the deadlines they put out there on their website. I mean, I applied for PhD and the deadline was today and still have not received anything yet. Not like I am expecting anything at this point. But in general they might be delayed in sending out responses till April 1st which is confirmed by the way if you look at last year posts for both master's and PhD

Did anybody get reject yet? My status is still awaiting decision and the deadline was 15th March.

CS Undergrad with 1 pub outside of the field and 3 strong LOR

Just received official offer, even though I already know this from my POI. Currently undergraduate in UIUC, applied for PhD but only get accepted into MSCS program. 3.9 gpa with senior thesis and all 3 letters from well-known professors in UIUC. Tough year, sigh.

CS Undergrad from old IIT; 5 publications in the field; Wrote my thesis at UIUC. Got an admit with RA (under the professor I worked with during my thesis).

TTPB: I did the same. I was told that I was not recommended for admission. COVID sucks! :/

TTPB is probably fake. A single person with 3 fake posts. Sad :/
