I'm one of the guys (see below) who had an interview on the 11th of March

To the poster below: Congratulations! Have they sent out all their admissions? I had the interview on the same day but didn't hear anything. :( And can you tell me what't your undergraduate major?

I just turned down my offer of admission, for any of you that are wait listed and waiting to hear back. I hope it works out for you!

Interviewed via Skype on 2/12 and accepted on 3/16. Good program but going to decline as I have an offer from somewhere else.Also, $25K yearly stipend with $1831 per semester health insurance to be paid by student.

Got admitted as what seems an afterthought with no funding indicated. This is my home university, what a joke don't put too much stock in their ranking. I'll take my FULLY FUNDED PHD offer at Stanford, thank you very little.

" I think you will hear back from the Admissions Committee by the end of this month. Several admit offers have been sent and many denials have been sent by the Admissions Committee. However, there are still several applications that have not yet been finalized. The final decision will be communicated via e-mail just as quickly as possible." When are they going to finalize? It's the end of March.

If you have better choice, could you please turn down the offer ASAP? I am still waiting for the decision and Apr 15 is the deadline for me to pay for $1,500 deposit. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me!

I called the department today, they informed me all masters decisions will be sent out by April 1st. Hope this helps anybody who is still waiting like me.

To below: Thanks for sharing. They didn't reply to neither of my two emails. Considering that admitted master students to UIUC should contact the faculty for RA, is there any chance we get funded before April 15th if admitted?

To the poster below: Did they say anything about PhD decisions?

To the posters below: I did not ask about Phd candidates. I would recommend calling them. And to the person that asked about funding...good question. Two weeks is not very much time to find an RA position. I'm crossing my fingers they will offer funding if I get an admit letter.
